Some time missing or broken links because of this problem. Demo key not working in many nokia cell phones, some time missing center point of Demo key or outer point break with pcb and if we check by multimeter, no polarity on dial screen. In many nokia mobile phone use keypad filter ic for control keypad keys. Keypad integrated circuit (ic) may have major cause for this problem. 

In first of this condition please clean pcb and reheat with hot air keypad ic problem not solved then change keypad ic but if not possible, keypad ic and you want save money or time please make jumper from keypad point to missing demo key point with jumper wire. When making jumper on missing demo key please use good quality solder wire carefully.

Troubleshooting guide.

Clean keypad plate on motherboard with CTC, Scratch carbonyl keypad touch with blade. There is no luck and many keypad buttons did not work properly; you need to change or jumper the cell phone keyboard missing buttons.

1. Clean keypad buttons from both sides of keyboard and keypad plate.
2. Remove keypad ic and make jumper.

Note:- Do not remove ic for this jumper, just scratch no2 point near the keypad ic location on no2 keypad ic point.
